Cloud
there for all but life was i
the random cloud that dawdles on the eye
whose purpose is not rain or shade
but solitude within the aggregated skies
upon the earth below are scattered fragmentary men
to whom that changeling cloud a shapeless feature
whose device in passing may some pleasure
to the art of mind allude
but in the waking hours those men walk on
about their drudgery
its is only in their melange dreams
a single cloud impacts upon their surreal landscape
for the many times i have enjoined those dreams in expectation
yet interpreted the atoms of interpretation
as spurious words upon the elegance of pages
failed that communion of religion and of knowledge
and gave me cause to howl among the silent atmospheres
they see me through a cloud
whose forms the eyes perverse of ignorance and obstinate stupidity
float above and aquify their silly world
