dreams ...
the tangent of the mind
cast their chords through verity
and dissemble to rearrange
the secrets of a different plane
who made their rules
was it you
for strangely though i know that core is you
you are of unknown appearance, as of a foreign body
who made your voice
was it you
for i recognise its colour
yet its blue falsetto and its amber tenet
was never yours to sing
what made you pluck
upon the ether chords of dream
across the seamless night of troubled slumber
was it you
was it you a calling
was it my imagining
or some muses music
dimensioned who knows where
