"feed the iris, feed the self"
the trees and hedge proclaimed
and imperial twisted rivers paid their heed
respecting their surround
yellow
i wait for you when day is passed
and dusk is failing in his sheets
as friends though far apart
with gait bow legged
the sun an orb between my addled stride
i come to you
as you awaken
the lighted bulrush at my side
