Not kill
if flowers were men would they shed their morals
like petals at every autumns chiding
at every winters biding
or through the pestilence of summers sugar seeking ants ?
tears are the mantra of the candid way
so do not cry you scum
for when it wrote
"you shall not kill your fellow man"
it meant that very thing
that you have now denied
read the prediction
the omen dust has posited in its designs
for in that dust patterned dream its says
escape
that word does tint the cue of living
with its fickle hint of colour
but the trance of the night itself
is cast across its soul
while men are ants
they see more the transient flavour of the flower
its radiance is seen from far above
