Salat
she entered by the garden gate
and the orpine withered
Taliesin looked at his desiccated salat
and sighed for life is so much more
than one small meal he felt
and later as his glance
flickered upon the bonfire of love
that was her crest
he wondered what he really felt about her
she had no lore or music much to speak of
about her bones she hung in a gangling sort of jumble
but yet her mind was oblique and quicker
than the atoms of the sun
fired across the universe of understanding
that though so unalike
yet they were somehow one whole organism
both the salat and the salt
and all its dressing
yet when she left by the garden gate
the orpine sprang anew
and he was somehow more entire
pondering of that gate
and its latent energy
