Slapper
up she strode
carrying herself in her arms
her long legs languid
her eyes narrowed through the veil of lash
her burned corona within the iris smoldering
her anger live and livid as she slapped my face
how it hurt
red and flustered, stinging i
saw her spun turn followed by splintered gazes
off she strode, her majesty
and her shadow in her train
though the latter some respectful paces distant
