That dog



a dog I'm told is clever
i know of one, it is my dog
i believe it thinks highly of the Teutons
and in fact several German visitors
have commanded it with a Das Hunds Deutch
and it has obeyed
they say "that is a clever dog"
only they say it in German which i don't understand
and my dog translates it in the manner of Action Dog
my dog has been photographed with a lot of rather select dogs
and they all seem to be very clever
they all have a long list of degrees or pedegrees
in the sciences and arts
BA Rk among them i assume
many have doctorates or dogtorates, Phd Hon Trees perhaps
not only do they tell each other how clever they are
but any passer by who will listen
and even those who have no time to listen
and so it seems that everyone has come to believe
that these dogs are clever and this dog in particular
i.e. my dog, is very very clever
but when i asked my dog to write its name
it gave me its paw or licked my face
