Travels
i have one window faced against the wind
and i have many voices
you can hear me call across the hills
and hear my echo
i may be found among the reeds
or deep inside the cherry tree
from whence I'm freed
and in my many travels
the many worlds have admired my masters
i have many moods and some can slur between them
free as easy is
for dexterity is among my central theme
and the passages of breath that steal the words
from in my hollow soul
can charm the old to delight and random dancing
and when i am aged
i may be be revered or maybe lent
or merely burnt for warmth
