every day
every day i write
and i say the same thing
and every day i write
and though the words are different
yet every day i write
and every day i write to you
and you are those words
yet very different
every day
and often difficult and awkward
every day
you are not the same in understanding
for muse
you have deserted me
and every day i try to find you
writing
writing and desperate to find you within the words
and every day i write
though you have left me here forever
with little but desire and
no fulfillment
and with many many words
upon an empty page
for every day i write
and then i destroy that every day
so that there is nothing
nothing
so that i may write again
every day
