its not a country i voted for
this ones full of blair and bullshit
kids kicking around walls
pissing it up
hanging around the garages
and the alleys
waiting for the next score
because theres fuck all else
'specially when one in five
can't read or write

maybe a few smart arses in new shirts
are making a bob or two
but those who aren't offshore
are hanging by the tendons
on the sheer cliff face
of a declining state
theres plenty of glitter on the xmas tree
and the media are full of the same
but there no substance to it
the reality is
that a so called socialist aligned party
has poured the working man down the drain
with imports of cheap goods
and cheap labour most of which
is shipping out its earnings to
substantiate its home economy
thats at your expense make no mistake

i know its not british
but why don't we just shoot the quidstickers
or slit their weasel throats
and use the much vaunted techno-space
to vote ourselves on every issue
who needs a parliament
who needs the hangers on
that right to democracy
is first to decide
the sequence of import
then debate
and then to vote on every issue
and your governments duty
to act upon your vote
and rejuvenate our world
to our own liking
not this hoarding
that fronts a happening slum
