boomed

the wheel rimmed planets boomed their subsonic rationale
across the media of thinly vapoured space
we heard their voice disguised refracted muddled
by the poets and the peaks and crevices of earth
and though the message was unclear yet
we called them gods
and thought
like gravity suspended pendulous on cool dark atmospheres
raged like wild bells loud discord and excessive harmony
ideas ideals that made our ears bleed red and eyes forego all reason
false the epedemics of that glory fever
great its pleasure palace and its dome which covers many nations
lots the whores of sacrifice are drawn
few the deviants of genius and the stubborn
among the many pavements set like fossilised bewares
break them or avoid them

its said the planets rarely sleep and at different times
so to maximise their policing of the natural laws of men
but chance upon millenium days and they are all quiet
then in the thin oxygen of that rare solstice
we chanced to meet and i declared you god (or godess) in their stead
for you are main
you are love and empathy
you are form and forebearance
you are beauty and brave
you are wit and intellect
you are passion and compassion
you are charity and wisdom
you are joy
the supremity of perfect as others ever will be judged
and this message of defiance rent by long horns redounded
in the vapours thin
irate gods awake
and wars begotten wars will rage on earth
the sacrifice of love will climb the highest mountain
and plunge headlong to its cleft
crazed as suicides
as unconstrained as hawks
and as our bodies as ideals explode below on rocks
the boom will bounce from
peak to peak and amplified i believe destiny foretells
the sound will crush the wheel rimmed planets
their dust to scatter with its tale
particular through the universal lore
spreading like a thinning veil propeled by sunlight
and our names be written in its etching plasma
engraved upon the sky
