dawn

comets of change hurled through the hurry gates
as if catastrophe were drawn into nebula
and thereafter explosions drawn into a vacuum
and then only the silence of the dawn remained
the embers of the critical deceasing mass
drowned by the rising organ mass of thrush and bluebird
chasing upon spires of trill
like mad shadows through the forests
then is the organ chord drawn to silence as its brilliance
passes out across the terrace and orb of coming day
then is its choir drawn to silence to admire the echo
of the first red sun kissed limb
its love heat
and love its never failing heart
whose solar flare
let glowering flowers raise their unsullied heads
let the insects be marching in their own perverse wisdom
and fish plash the river top with silver laughter
and will man see man in this same unison of happiness through uncertainty
and as a simile of delight in a single second of being
or in a rising dawn
