Two birds

"men are brutal
trust me they will never inherit the future world of God
the end times are coming
their galloping mares unbridled
their cars of gold by angels, full breasted, feminine,
are tamed
immortally, invisibly, laced to the desires of God
and need no harness
they do not seek God
you do not seek God
God will find you
God will empty out the contents of your heart upon his floor"

she stops, maybe a tear, the upwelling of emoticons
dancing, yellow smiling, before her imaged eyes
blurred phantoms
eyes in which she sees her own salvation
and in their empty orbits are reflected
i sense the plunging mythic fingers of God fondling her soft white orbs
admiring the clear blue, or was it brown or green, precision of their iris

whether God is boy or girl or everything
is no impediment to her reality
and that is how it should be
she sees me see her dreams as odd and obscure
she shes my lack of veracity
and in her equation it integrates slowly to damnation
in my brutal way i dissect the plurality of her logic

there is such a distance between us
as we sit hand in hand
and admire the birds upon the felt smooth park
fullers have mashed and manicured its sterile grass
and on that grass the birds
are half and half some homely northern birds
some tough wandering southern birds
there is a distance between them as they strut
or off they fly evading young chidlers open armed desires
just to stroke one
this or this vista
which is the caress of God ?
