it is feared that we have no continuance, but come, i will show you your mystery
by which you will become incorruptible in the sight of your peers and in their inheritance
until you are obscure, and though you will have no substance
yet you will persist as if in shade and in that puissance of ephemeral shape
you will gather with you and about you memory which like a glowing envelope
will shield as you are ushered through the portal some, contrary, deem as sleep and others as existence
i will show you the palaces
where the mysteries of construction are disproved where structures seem irrelevant
and matter exists as merely change and intensity as surely as skill and fortitude are its test
so this is life
and in abundance more or less it is yours
do not waste this ultimate gift
